Jim Clare and Gary Simas worked in irrigation together for 28 years before Gary died in 2006. They are regarded as innovators of many types of irrigation methods. Gary and Jim left Golden State Irrigation in May of 2003 to form Pacific SouthWest Irrigation. Sonny Lucchesi was their first employee.
